Meet Nellie
A charming mix of whimsy and reality, Nellie’s stories and songs and illustrations have universal appeal to children ages 4-10. Nellie and her Lady and special bird friend, Seamus, take them on many exciting adventures! They celebrate the wonder of family and friends and share this experience through the magical windows of words and music.
About The Adventures Of Nellie
The Adventures of Nellie is a magical presentation combining original narrative, storytelling, music and song. It illustrates the life stories of Nellie, a little Irish harp and her Lady. Kitty Sullivan (My Lady) is the originator. She is writer, musician and solo performer. She is the speaker, but Nellie is the storyteller. Nellie’s voice. Nellie’s words. And as Nellie always says, “all of our stories are true! They really happened!”
The stories are approximately 20 minutes in length and there are now videos and books of two of those stories: MOTHER BIRD and THE HAWK.
In a classroom setting these two videos can be shared with the children and then through Zoom followed by a little question and answer period in which they can chat with Nellie and Kitty.
